- Providing supervision and support to Social Workers and other team members.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of service improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant post-qualifying experience in children’s services, particularly in a statutory setting.
- Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
