Join a small, supportive Discharge Planning Team where your work will directly impact safe, timely transitions for children and families. 🧩 Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Child & Family Assessments
  • Complete robust Risk Assessments
  • Prepare and present high-quality Court Reports
  • Work closely with multi-agency professionals to support discharge planning
  • Contribute to positive, safe outcomes for children and families

💰 Pay Rates

  • Social Worker (Band 1) - ASYE + minimum 2 years' experience
    💷 £28.55 per hour
  • Senior Social Worker (Band 2) - minimum 3 years' experience
    💷 £30.57 per hour
  • Advanced Practitioner / Assistant Team Manager
    (Includes caseload plus supervisory/practice development duties)
    💷 £33.30 per hour

👤 What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experience within children's services (post-ASYE relevant to banding)
  • Minimum 3 years permanent post-qualified experience in English Local Authority
  • Strong assessment, court work and risk management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
