As a Qualified Social Worker in our Family Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to help them navigate challenges.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.
- Staying informed about relevant legislation and best practices in child protection.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
- Excellent assessment and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload independently.
