As a Qualified Social Worker in our Family Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to help them navigate challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.
  • Staying informed about relevant legislation and best practices in child protection.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload independently.
