Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities? Join our Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Staffordshire, where you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and their families. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is committed to promoting the welfare and development of children with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to thrive.

As a social worker in our CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health and education professionals, to coordinate services and interventions. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, empowering them to navigate challenges and access necessary resources. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in case reviews and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Join our dedicated Children's Social Work (CWD Team) in Staffordshire, where you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality social work services to children and young people, ensuring their wellbeing and safeguarding. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with various agencies, families, and professionals to create effective intervention strategies tailored to individual needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other stakeholders. Providing direct support to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements. Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in children's social work.
