We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Sutton. As a Qualified Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and local policies.
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share knowledge, and reflect on practice.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
