Join our dedicated Children's TM - CIC Team in Staffordshire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children and young people in care. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional who is passionate about advocating for the welfare of vulnerable children. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every child receives the support and services they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the best outcomes for children in care. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children, families, and foster carers. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to facilitate effective service delivery.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
