Join our dedicated team in Coventry as a Senior Practitioner in Help & Protection within the Qualified Social Work field. As a Senior Practitioner, you will lead and support a team in delivering high-quality social work services, ensuring that safeguarding and welfare needs are met effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Providing supervision and guidance to junior staff and social work students. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to promote integrated service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies.
