As a Qualified Social Worker within our Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding interventions.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Working in partnership with other agencies and professionals to ensure effective safeguarding measures are in place.
  • Conducting investigations into safeguarding concerns and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing support, guidance, and training to colleagues and volunteers in safeguarding practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with service users and stakeholders.
