Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Herefordshire is seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support tailored to their unique needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children with disabilities. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and external agencies to provide holistic support. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Advocating for children’s rights and promoting their welfare in all aspects of their lives. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
