We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Herefordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. You will be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively to provide high-quality support and interventions that promote the well-being and development of children.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans. Working closely with children, parents, and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery and coordination. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure that interventions are effective and that children’s needs are being met. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and agency policies.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
