As a Children's Social Worker within our Localities Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans to support children and promote their welfare. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to care. Providing direct support to children and families, including crisis intervention when necessary. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social work, particularly in a local authority setting. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
