MAP ( MASH ) Social Worker Role l NW Woking l Surrey - upto £42/h
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MAP (MASH) Social Worker to join our team in NW Woking, Surrey. As a MAP Social Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties, including:
- Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans to safeguard children and support families.
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to referrals.
- Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to decision-making processes regarding child protection.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working in a MASH or child protection setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Proficient in assessment and analytical skills, with a sound understanding of safeguarding legislation.
