We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Partnership (MASH) Team in Woking, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to the safeguarding and well-being of children and families within our community. The position offers a competitive rate of £42 per hour (Umbrella) and provides a supportive and dynamic work environment.
As a Social Worker in the MASH Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks to children and families. Collaborating with various agencies, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns. Developing and implementing care plans that address the identified needs of children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with legal and statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting their resilience and independence.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working within a child protection or safeguarding context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
