We are currently seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Bradford on a temporary basis, offering a competitive rate of £35 per hour. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and guidance to foster carers, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers and providing training and support throughout the fostering process.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.
  • Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in line with regulatory standards.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience working within a fostering or child protection setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong assessment and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
