Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families, children, and other professionals.
  • Managing a caseload of varying complexity, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with policy and legislation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse populations.
