Are you a dedicated social worker with a passion for safeguarding vulnerable adults? The London Borough of Bromley is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals in our community while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide comprehensive support services. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Participating in safeguarding investigations and chairing meetings as required. Providing expert advice and support to colleagues, service users, and their families.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and stakeholders.
