We are seeking a qualified Social Worker who is passionate about child welfare and committed to delivering high-quality support and protection services. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans in accordance with legislative requirements. Working closely with families to identify their needs and provide tailored support. Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to data protection regulations. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children. Providing advice and support to colleagues and contributing to team development.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
