Children's SW - Assessment Team - Yorkshire

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Assessment Team in Yorkshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and families within our community. As part of our dynamic team, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with families and other professionals to promote positive outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies and care plans.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child safeguarding.
