We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate EDT AP (Emergency Duty Team Approved Practitioner) to join our dynamic team in Coventry. Offering a competitive rate of £33.30 per hour, this role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in crisis situations. As an EDT AP, you will be responsible for assessing and managing urgent care needs, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients while adhering to best practices and legal frameworks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients in emergency situations.
- Developing and implementing immediate care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to clients and their families.
- Documenting all interactions and maintaining accurate records for compliance and future reference.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant professional qualification in social work, nursing, or a related field.
- Current registration with a professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC).
- Demonstrated experience in emergency or crisis intervention settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
