The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing support, and ensuring the welfare of children in need within the community.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans. Providing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with statutory requirements and local policies. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working within children’s social services, particularly in safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
