Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Safeguarding Team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people within our community. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide effective support and intervention, ensuring that children thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families in crisis. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this position, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage a caseload effectively.

Join our dedicated Support and Safeguarding Team at Achieving for Children as a Children’s Social Worker! We are seeking a passionate and qualified individual committed to improving the lives of children and families in our community. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, implementing safeguarding measures, and ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access necessary resources and services. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families. Proven ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
