Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Safeguarding Team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our care. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of families and contribute to the development of effective safeguarding practices within the community.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans to address identified issues. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive parenting practices. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children's safeguarding or child protection settings. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
