Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and regulations.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in family support and intervention.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
