We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Oldham. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and their families in our community. You will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in accordance with statutory guidelines. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans tailored to individual needs. Collaborating with other professionals, including health, education, and law enforcement, to provide holistic support. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records and documentation in line with local authority policies. Participating in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
