Join our dynamic Assessment Team in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable populations. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop support plans, and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with service users. Monitoring and reviewing progress, adapting plans as necessary to ensure effective support. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Working closely with partner agencies, including health, education, and community services, to provide holistic support.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and assessment, ideally within a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
