Join our dedicated Family Support & Intervention Team in Conwy as a Children’s Social Worker. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual who is committed to enhancing the lives of children and families within our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to ensure the safety and well-being of children, providing essential support and intervention when necessary.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, developing tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to build trusting relationships. Working closely with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and interventions. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with policy and legislation. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when required.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Care Wales. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to deliver effective interventions and promote positive outcomes for children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and regulations. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in family support and intervention. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
