We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children in Care (CIC) Team in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality social work interventions to support children in care and promote their well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection plans.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
