Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people? Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a qualified CIC/LAC Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in care and those who are on the edge of care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development.

As a CIC/LAC Social Worker, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, including:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and young people. Building trusting relationships with children, families, and other professionals to promote the best outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/BSc in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children in care and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
