Children's SW - Help & Protection Team - Nottinghamshire
Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Help & Protection Team in Nottinghamshire, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and providing ongoing support to children and their families. Your expertise will ensure that vulnerable children receive the protection and assistance they require, while working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans.
- Working closely with families to provide support and guidance.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in team meetings and supervision to enhance service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
