Caritas Futures is proud to partner with a leading charity supporting survivors of sexual violence. We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to join a committed team making a real difference.

About the Role:

As an ISVA, you will provide vital, trauma-informed advocacy and emotional support to individuals affected by sexual violence. You'll help clients understand their rights, navigate the criminal justice system, access relevant services, and make informed decisions about their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored support to survivors of all backgrounds

  • Provide information on legal, health, housing, and safeguarding issues

  • Complete risk assessments and develop safety plans

  • Liaise with police, CPS, health, and social care professionals

  • Manage a caseload while maintaining accurate, confidential records

What We're Looking For:

  • Enhanced DBS (issued within the last 12 months)

  • Experience supporting survivors of sexual violence or working in a similar support role

  • Strong understanding of trauma, safeguarding, and the criminal justice process

  • Empathetic, resilient, and client-focused approach
