We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our 0-25 Disabilities Team in Barnet. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and services to children and young people with disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments to identify the needs of children and young people with disabilities
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with the child, their family, and other professionals
  • Providing direct support and interventions to children and families to promote positive outcomes
  • Working closely with partner agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and support for children with complex needs

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in working with children and young people with disabilities
  • Registered with Social Work England and up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues
