The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly within a locality team.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in adult social care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a caseload efficiently.
