We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team in Leicester. You will play a vital role in assessing and addressing the needs of children in vulnerable situations, working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the children in our care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children in need and their families, ensuring that their needs are accurately identified and addressed. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies. Participating in team meetings and supervision, contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery. Providing support and guidance to less experienced staff and students, fostering a learning environment.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly within a CIN setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
