Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection Court Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a QSW, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and representing the interests of children in court proceedings. Your expertise will contribute to making informed decisions that impact the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and court work.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and report writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
