Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and safeguarding investigations in accordance with legislation and local policies.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of safeguarding practices through training and development initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
