We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate PERM Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting their well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the safety and welfare of children
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated support for families
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work setting
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and needs accurately
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
