Key responsibilities include undertaking assessments and visits, preparing reports, coordinating multi-agency meetings, and working collaboratively with education, health, early help, safeguarding and other partner services. Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and current registration with Social Work England, together with relevant post-qualification experience in children and families social care. Experience of working within a CIN, safeguarding or statutory children’s services environment is essential, as is a sound understanding of the Children Act, child protection procedures, assessment frameworks and multi-agency practice. You should be confident managing competing priorities, making evidence-based decisions and communicating effectively with children, families and professionals.
