We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Lewisham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable adults in the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and reviews to identify safeguarding concerns and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to safeguard and promote the well-being of adults at risk.
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals and families in crisis situations.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences to contribute to decision-making processes.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable adults and conducting safeguarding assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
