We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Duty Team in Newcastle. This pivotal role involves providing high-quality support and intervention for adults in need, ensuring their safety, well-being, and access to essential services. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including health professionals, community organizations, and families to promote positive outcomes for vulnerable adults.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Managing a caseload of clients, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Providing advice and support to clients and their families regarding available services and resources.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated care and support.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly in duty or assessment teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
