Social Worker - UASC - City of Doncaster

The City of Doncaster is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) team. Your key responsibilities will include:

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people, particularly in the context of asylum and immigration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices related to social work and UASC.
