We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to contribute to our Child Protection (CP) Team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and local communities to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans based on assessment outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection. Providing support and guidance to families to help them achieve positive outcomes. Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence when necessary.To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children's social services, particularly in child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent assessment and analytical skills.
