The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Safeguarding Team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in need.
  • Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Managing a caseload of complex cases, providing support and intervention as necessary.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legislation and local policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's safeguarding and working with vulnerable families.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
