The London Borough of Havering is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team.   • Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to decision-making processes regarding safeguarding interventions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children’s services, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding.
