We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Emergency Duty Team in Lincolnshire. This vital role involves responding to urgent situations involving children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. As a member of our team, you will play a critical part in safeguarding vulnerable children and providing necessary interventions during out-of-hours service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations of urgent child protection concerns.
  • Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and partner agencies to develop and implement safety plans.
  • Providing support and guidance to families in crisis, ensuring their immediate needs are met.
  • Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work) and hold current registration with Social Work England. Additionally, you should have:

  • Experience working in children's social care, particularly in emergency or crisis situations.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on legislation and best practices.
