We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Adoption Support Team in Bolton, offering a competitive rate of £37 per hour on an Umbrella basis. This role is pivotal in providing essential support and guidance to adoptive families, ensuring the best outcomes for children and their families. As a Social Worker in the Adoption Support Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations of adoptive families to identify their needs and support requirements.
- Providing therapeutic support and counselling to children and families post-adoption.
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to develop and implement effective support plans.
- Facilitating training and workshops for adoptive parents to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in adoption support or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
