Join our dedicated Support and Safeguarding Team at Achieving for Children as a Children’s Social Worker! In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, implementing safeguarding measures, and ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and agencies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access necessary resources and services.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
