Shropshire - SP - Duty and Assessment Team
Join our dedicated Duty and Assessment Team in Shropshire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of children and families in need of support.
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Providing guidance and support to families, empowering them to access resources and services.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
