We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children & Families Team in Waltham Forest. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting positive outcomes for families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children and families, providing ongoing support and intervention as required. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to coordinate care and support. Documenting case notes and reports accurately, ensuring compliance with local and national standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse and demanding caseload.
