Join our dedicated Duty and Assessment Team in Shropshire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing support and interventions, and ensuring the welfare of those in need. Your expertise will contribute to making a positive impact in the community, promoting well-being and resilience among our service users.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Providing guidance and support to families, empowering them to access resources and services.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
