Qualified Social Worker (QSW)
Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Help Team. This role is pivotal in supporting families to achieve positive outcomes and enhance their overall well-being. As a QSW, you will work collaboratively with children, parents, and other professionals to provide tailored support and interventions that empower families in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing direct support and guidance to families to promote safety and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
- Engaging with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for families.
To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, effective problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of child protection legislation and frameworks. Experience in working with families in a social work context is highly desirable.
