Assessment & Safeguarding Social Worker - £35 p/h Umb | North East Lincolnshire
We are seeking an experienced Assessment & Safeguarding Social Worker to join our dynamic team in North East Lincolnshire. This role offers a competitive rate of £35 per hour (Umbrella) and presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. As an Assessment & Safeguarding Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable individuals.
- Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in assessment and safeguarding within a social work context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in safeguarding.
