We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Social Worker specializing in Assessment & Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in North East Lincolnshire. This pivotal role involves working closely with children and families to ensure their safety, welfare, and overall well-being. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with various agencies to provide the best outcomes for vulnerable individuals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing expert guidance and support to junior social workers and other staff members. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker status with a relevant degree (e.g., Social Work, Psychology). Registration with Social Work England. Extensive experience in safeguarding and child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with families and professionals. Proficient in assessment tools and safeguarding frameworks.
